Clear answers about PST VPN, vouchers, and VPN access

This FAQ page answers the most common questions about PST VPN, including how vouchers work, how VPN access is activated, and what to expect from our service.

Our goal is clarity and transparency.
No hidden conditions. No confusing terminology.

Vouchers & Payments

Is a voucher the same as VPN access?

No. A voucher is a payment method.
VPN access is the service you activate by redeeming a voucher.

Does voucher value affect VPN quality or speed?

No. Voucher value has no impact on VPN quality, speed, security, or infrastructure.

All users connect to the same VPN network, regardless of voucher value.

What can I redeem with a voucher?

Depending on the voucher value, you can redeem:

  • One month of VPN Direct Access (no subscription)

  • One year of VPN Direct Access (no subscription)

  • One month of VPN Managed Access (subscription-based)
  • One year of VPN Managed Access (subscription-based)

  • One month of VPN Account Access
  • One year of VPN Account Access

  • VPN routers or other hardware

  • Combinations of access and hardware (balance dependent)

The voucher only determines what you can purchase, not how the VPN performs.

Can I combine products with one voucher?

Yes. If the voucher balance allows it, you can combine:

  • VPN access + hardware

  • Multiple access periods

  • Different products in one redemption flow

Do vouchers expire?

Voucher validity and any expiration terms are clearly stated at purchase.
If an expiration applies, it is shown transparently — never hidden.

VPN Access Models

What is VPN Direct Access?

VPN Direct Access is voucher-based VPN access without a subscription.

  • No recurring payments

  • No ongoing billing

  • Activated after voucher redemption

  • Same VPN infrastructure as all other access types

Do I need to create an account for VPN Direct Access?

No. VPN Direct Access works without an account and without a subscription.

Some minimal information (such as an email address) may be required to deliver your configuration and meet legal requirements.

What is VPN Managed Access?

VPN Managed Access is account-based VPN access intended for long-term use.

It allows:

  • Ongoing access

  • Renewals (monthly or annual)

  • Support history

  • Router and multi-device setups

The VPN quality is the same as Direct Access — only the management model differs.

Can I switch between Direct Access and Managed Access?

Yes. You are free to choose the access model that fits your situation.

You are never locked into a single model.

VPN Usage & Setup

Can I choose my VPN location?

Yes. During activation, you can select a VPN server location from the available network.

Available locations may change over time as the infrastructure expands or is optimized.

What do I need to connect to PST VPN?

You need:

  • A WireGuard client on your device
    or

  • A compatible VPN router

WireGuard is available for desktop and mobile platforms.

Can I use PST VPN on multiple devices?

Yes, depending on your access model and setup.

  • VPN routers protect all devices on the network

  • Managed Access supports structured multi-device use

Is PST VPN suitable for public Wi-Fi?

Yes. VPN access encrypts your connection on public and untrusted networks, reducing exposure to basic network threats.

Performance & Reliability

Will VPN slow down my internet connection?

VPN performance depends on:

  • Selected location

  • Distance to the server

  • Your local network conditions

There are no artificial speed tiers based on voucher value or access type.

Are there bandwidth limits?

No artificial bandwidth limits are imposed on VPN access.

Fair use principles apply to prevent abuse and ensure stability for all users.

Privacy & Security

Do you log my activity?

PST VPN does not monetize traffic or profile user behavior.

We collect only the minimum data required to deliver and maintain the service, in line with our Privacy Policy.

Do you use ads or tracking?

No. PST VPN does not inject ads, tracking scripts, or analytics into VPN traffic.

Is VPN access anonymous?

VPN Direct Access minimizes account dependency, but complete anonymity is not guaranteed.

For legal and operational reasons, some limited data may be processed during activation.

Hardware & Routers

Why would I use a VPN router?

A VPN router:

  • Protects all devices at once

  • Requires no apps per device

  • Reduces configuration errors

  • Provides always-on network protection

Is PST VPN hardware verified?

Yes. All routers offered by PST VPN are:

  • Individually selected
